The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.
The gross domestic product (GDP) in the Eurozone and the European Union (EU) registered a growth of 0.3 percent during the first quarter of the current year compared to the previous quarter.

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has sent a cable of thanks to the King of Saudi Arabia the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the urgent economic support to Yemen including with a deposit of $2 billion to shore up Yemen's currency.
The Houthi rebel militia's three years of insurgency with has plunged Yemen into a an unprecedented humanitarian and economic crisis. The Iran-backed rebels begun seizing Yemen's foreign cash reserves, USD 5 starting from their military takeover in September 2014, causing the Riyal to reach an all-time low this week.
In his cable, Hadi appreciated King Salman's directives "to support the Yemeni Riyal … which drives home the point that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is eager to supply the means of stability to Yemen."
"As usual, the Kingdom is working to comfort the Yemeni people and protect them against the weapons of death that the Houthi militia and its financiers point at Yemenis," said Hadi.
"These brotherly and humanitarian stances from Saudi Arabia are not new… they will be in the memories of Yemenis forever."
