President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has stressed the imperative of the ministries' contribution tolife normalizing in the areas recaptured from the Houthi-Saleh rebel militias.
He highlighted this role during a meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday with the Minister of Public Works and Roads Dr. Moeen Abdul Malik.
He was referring to the re-opening of public offices and the re-supply of services; water, electricity, health, education and roads.
"Roads are the artery of life and there is an urgent need to move between cities, deliver humanitarian aid, transport commodities and," he said.
For his part, Abdul Malik briefed Hadi on the Ministry's activities priorities and the preparationsof the ministry's headquarters in the temporary capital Aden.
The delayed opening of some public offices in Aden is due to the war damages in infrastructure that the rebels' inflicted when they invaded Aden and other parts of the country in 2015.
