Hadi: The coupers have destroyed the country and its infrastructures
[24/10/2017 02:44]
RIYADH-SABA
President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi said "the [Saleh-Houthi] coupers have destroyed the country and its infrastructure, killed civilians, and displaced women and children in the struggle to take power and import the Iranian experience ."

In a meeting with the First Executive Director of the European Institute for Peace (EIP), Martin Griffiths, and the Vice President of the Board Marc Otte in Riyadh on Tuesday, Hadi raised the humanitarian and economic suffering issue as a consequence of the crisis triggered by the couper militias who looted the country's billions of dollars cash reserves from the Central Bank of Yemen to finance their military insurgency.

The meeting also discussed the prospects of peace and the EIP's contributions in this regard.

Griffiths affirmed the EPI's conviction that enforcement of the UN Security Council's resolution no. 2216 is the only means to achieve peace.

He said that the indications are that without the resolution's enforcement and the government's return to the capital Sana'a, there will be no peace and stability.

And this is the intuitive inference anyone who observes the Yemeni crisis, by visiting the country, meeting the rival parties and reflecting on the situations, will come up.
