President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has received in his residence in New York the CEO of GE Power and Baker Hughes and the director general of the company's office in MENA region, Rami Qasem.
Hadi discussed with them the prospects of cooperation in the field of power generation. Hadi presented Yemen's problems in power supply and directed the government to sign a MOU with the Company in the field of power solutions.
Hadi briefed them on Yemen's need for gas-powered electricity as a cost-effective option for the national economy.
The CEO of the GE indicated that his company's cooperation with the Yemeni company Petromasilah in Hadhramout in the field of power generation would continue.
