President Hadi receives Dutch Ambassador

President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi received Monday Dutch Ambassador to Yemen Robert Petri, with whom he discussed latest developments in Yemen.

President Hadi reaffirmed the role being played by the Kingdom of the Netherland for achieving peace in Yemen in accordance with the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

He highlighted the role of Netherland for supporting Yemen in different development fields and its humanitarian efforts it provides through international organizations and bodies.

He also praised coordination and cooperation between the two countries in different domains, including ending Houthi-Saleh's coup, restoring order and reconstruction in Yemen.

For his part, the Dutch diplomat appreciated efforts being exerted by President for the interests of Yemen, confirming continuation of his country's support for the constitutional legitimacy and efforts of upending the coup and implementing the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes, which Netherland played a role along with other international partners in achieving it. The outcomes are considered the safe way-out and the roadmap for the future of Yemen and its people, as a document agreed upon by all Yemeni political powers.

"We have many project and program in Yemen and they will continue for helping the Yemeni people," said Ambassador Petri.
