President congratulates Trump on US Independence Day

The President of the Republic Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi has sent a cable of congratulations to his US counterpart Donald Trump on the anniversary of the US Independence Day, July 4.

President Hadi valued the US positive role to the side of Yemen's security, stability, unity and its constitutionally legitimate state and the US's efforts in fighting terrorism and support to Yemen in all circumstances especially in the current which Yemen is going through as a result of the of the Saleh-Houthi militias' armed dissent against the national agreement, represented by the National Dialogue outcomes, and the UNSC resolutions especially resolution 2216.

The president hailed the strong relations between the two friendly nations, the US and Yemeni, the reciprocal respect and fruitful cooperation in various fields.

The president affirmed the interest to continue working with Trump in all fields for the interest of the two friendly nations; coordinating with the US in the fight against terrorism and different forms of violence and extremism; and promoting intercultural and inter-civilizational dialogue.

President Had also expressed wishes of welfare to Trump and continued prosperity for the United States' friendly people.
