Riyadh (Saba)- President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Tuesday received US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tuller, discussing bilateral relations as well as Yemen's updates
President Hadi said he is keen to reach reconciliation on the basis of terms of reference which include the GCC-brokered initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN resolutions on Yemen.
He further commended the United States' efforts supporting Yemen in overcoming challenges, putting an end to the Houthi-Saleh coup and fighting terrorism and extremism.
President Hadi reviewed the crises, dialogue and difficult conditions Yemen faced during the last years in which he shouldered the responsibility of ruling Yemen, indicating that Yemen experienced very critical and complicated conditions.
For his part, the US ambassador expressed appreciation for efforts exerted by Hadi in governing Yemen, asserting that the US administration will continue supporting Yemen and its constitutional legitimacy in order to move forward to realize peace.
He also valued Yemen's cooperation and coordination in fighting terrorism and extremism.
