The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Fath briefed the UN official on the severe humanitarian conditions over the war waged by Houthi-Saleh's militias against Yemeni people.
The two discussed alternative plans and safe ways to provide relief aid to all governorates via the interim Capital of Aden to avoid looting and seizure practiced by rebels. The more affected people in Taiz will be the first target of relief aid.
Fath argued Anderson to visit Aden and hold meetings with officials and NOGs to discuss with them issues related to the program's activities and the process of aid across the country.
Minister Fath stressed on partnership with the WFP, confirming best use of funds granted by donors for humanitarian aid to Yemeni people.
"The government of Yemen welcomes all efforts exerted by the program," said Fath, who reaffirmed that the government is fully ready to provide all facilitations to enable the aid agencies to perform their duties towards Yemeni people.
For his part, Anderson welcomed positive reaction by the government, confirming that the program will work on extending aid to all Yemeni people.
