TAIZ-SABA
Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, along with the UNICEF Resident Representative to Yemen, Peter Hawkins, on Wednesday inaugurated a project to rehabilitate ten water wells and supply three electricity generators with a capacity of 100 kilowatts.
Following the launch, Governor Shamsan was briefed on the project, which is expected to add 800 cubic meters per day to the existing production capacity of 5,000 cubic meters, helping to boost the city’s water supply and address ongoing shortages.
The governor later held talks with the UN official on areas of joint cooperation and support for the water and sanitation sector, as well as the health sector in the governorate.
