Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Chairman, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, has reaffirmed the country's unwavering support for Sudan's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The statement was made during a meeting with Sudanese Prime Minister Kamal Idris al-Tayeb on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Al-Alimi emphasized Yemen's rejection of any attempts to impose faits accomplis by force outside the framework of legitimate state institutions, viewing the situation in Sudan as part of a dangerous pattern of undermining national states through support for parallel militias.

He expressed support for efforts to restore Sudan's constitutional institutions and ensure full control over its territory, highlighting the importance of regional security and stability in the Red Sea.

Al-Alimi also condemned the gross violations committed by rebel militias in Sudan against civilians and national infrastructure, calling for accountability under international law.
