His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, the chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, has inquired about the general situation in Shabwa province following recent developments in eastern Yemen.
Governor Awadh bin Wazeer briefed the President on security and services, and measures taken to protect state facilities and citizens' interests.
Al-Alimi directed authorities to enhance security, stabilize the province, and protect vital infrastructure, implementing presidential decisions to safeguard citizens' interests and state resources.
He emphasized the state's commitment to supporting local authorities in fulfilling their constitutional duties, particularly in this critical phase.
The President praised Shabwa residents' national stance and cooperation with state institutions, expressing confidence in their role in maintaining security and stability.
He assured that Shabwa province, given its economic and national importance, will remain a priority for the state, including empowering its residents and enhancing their role in decision-making.
