President al-Alimi meets with Consultations and Reconciliation Commission headship

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Tuesday, with the headship of the Consultations and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) included the Deputies of the Chair of the Commission Sakher al-Wajeeh, Jamilla Ali Raja and Akram al-Ameri.

The meeting aimed to discuss the recent developments in the country, mainly the unilateral measures taken by the South Transitional Council (STC) and the political, economic, security and military repercussions of these measures.

The President urged the CRC to play its role in protecting the state institutions and deterring any unilateral measures undermining the existing partnership among the national forces resisting the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias' scheme.

President al-Alimi reiterated the categorical rejection of any unilateral measures of endeavors aimed to impose a fait accompli outside the framework of national consensus and the governing references of the transitional phase.

The Chairman of the PLC reiterated the presidential steadfast stance of not allowing the country to slip into any new internal conflict. At the same time he stressed that under no circumstances should political partnership be turned into a fait accompli by force.
