His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, has called on citizens, political forces, and local authorities in Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces to unite behind state efforts to stabilize security, address economic hardship, and counter the Houthi militia threat.
In phone calls with governors of both provinces, President al-Alimi emphasized the need for withdrawal of external forces, empowering local authorities, and investigating human rights violations. He praised Saudi Arabia's efforts to reduce tensions and stabilize the provinces.
The President warned against further escalation, stressing priority should be defeating Houthi militias and achieving Yemen's aspirations for security, stability, and peace, while urging citizens to prioritize national interests over internal conflicts.
