His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) urged the Yemeni people to cement the national unity, uphold state institutions work jointly for safe, stable and prosperous Yemen.
Addressing the Yemeni people this evening, Saturday, on the eve of the 58th Anniversary of the Glorious Independence Day, he said " We celebrate today the 85th Anniversary of the Glorious Independence Day, while our country is going through one of the most difficult times in its history, as forces of tyranny and the new imamates try to drag us back to their abhorrent past with the support of the mullahs' regime in Iran, and its destructive scheme across the entire region".
The President added" Even though this ordeal created by the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias, we're more confident than ever that our people are strong enough to gain victory, and the safe and stable Yemen we're looking for is closer than ever, thanks to willpower of its brave sons and heroes of its armed forces".
"We have to join efforts, reinforce national unity and work together for the stable and prosperous Yemen that all of us are looking for", al-Alimi said.
