The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, has traveled to Saudi Arabia to lead high-level consultations with regional and international partners.
The discussions will focus on the latest national and regional developments, as well as the international support required for the country's economic recovery plan.
A source in the Presidential Office said the consultations aim to address pressing issues, including national unity, economic and monetary reforms, humanitarian interventions, and development initiatives to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people. The talks will also cover efforts to combat terrorism and arms smuggling networks.
The source affirmed that the Presidential Leadership Council is committed to fulfilling the state's obligations, including paying civil servants' salaries and addressing challenges in water and electricity supplies.
The source also praised international organizations for relocating to the temporary capital, Aden, to ensure the safety of aid workers and protect the humanitarian community.
