His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) along with the Council's Members Maj. General Aidaroos al-Zubaidi and Dr Abdullah BaWazear participated in the opening of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, which started today, Tuesday, in New York with the participation of the leaders of the countries, heads of governments and representatives of regional and international organizations.
President al-Alimi will deliver a speech during the UN General Assembly sessions, in which he will highlight the developments in Yemen and the needed international support for the efforts of the PLC and the government.
The Chairman of the PLC is going to explain the vision of the PLC and the government to make the fair and comprehensive peace as well as to deter the common threats, first and foremost the violations of the Iranian-regime backed terrorist Houthi militias.
The Chairman and the two members of the PLC will hold meetings, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Sessions, with a number of the heads of the delegations about bilateral relations and issues of common interests.
