President al-Alimi Receives Credentials of Japanese, Sudanese, Vietnamese Ambassadors

The President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Wednesday, at al-Ma'ashiq Palace, in the interim capital Aden, the credentials papers of the Japanese Ambassador Yoichi Nakashima, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan Dafa Allah Haj Ali Othman and the Ambassador of the Republic of Vietnam Hoang Huu Anh .

Following the ceremonies, the President along with the PLC's Member Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami held meetings with the newly appointed Ambassadors to the Republic of Yemen who conveyed the greetings of their countries leaders to the Chairman of the PLC and its members.

President al-Alimi welcomed the Ambassadors, wishing them all the best in their diplomatic mission, promising all necessary support they may need to do their job successfully to serve the mutual interests and develop bilateral relations.

The President detailed the Ambassadors on the developments in the national arena, citing the progress realized in re-building the state's institutions and securing the work of the diplomatic missions and the international organizations in the temporary capital Aden.

He also touched on the practices of the terrorist Houthi militias and its sponsors to boost the war economy and financing the terrorism, besides the militias' gross violations of human rights.

The Chairman of the PLC confirmed the commitment of PLC and the government to comprehensive peace option that is based on the national, regional and international references.

The President restated that it is very important for the international community to depend on the internationally recognized government as a reliable partner to ensure the freedom of the international navigation and fighting extremism, terrorism and marine piracy.

He also stressed that it is very important for the international community to join the decision of the designation of the Houthi militias as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and support the UN mechanism for researching and improve its efficiency in applying the embargo on the Iranian weapons which proved destabilizing the security of Yemen and the region .
