Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi met with the EU Ambassador to Yemen Gabriel Munuera Viñals and ambassadors from France and Germany in Riyadh.
The meeting discussed the distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and EU countries, as well as recent developments in the local situation and required European interventions to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people caused by the Houthi terrorist militia.
The President commended the EU's supportive stance towards the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, highlighting the importance of continued humanitarian and development assistance to improve living conditions and sustain basic services.
