Leadership Council Chairman Meets with Consultative Body and Political Components

RIYADH - SABA
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, met with the Chairman of the Consultative and Reconciliation Body, Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, and secretaries-general of political parties and components.

The meeting discussed recent local, regional, and international developments, and efforts to address the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by Houthi militia attacks.

The President highlighted a significant shift in the international community's stance towards Yemen, attributing it to a joint approach in presenting the legitimate government as a partner and exposing the Houthi militia's threat to international peace and security.

He emphasized the need for a unified national approach to alter the balance of power on the ground and achieve the desired transformation in the battle to restore state institutions.

The meeting also addressed economic, service, and financial challenges posed by the suspension of oil exports and currency fluctuations.

The President praised the role of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in supporting economy and commended the security services' efforts in deterring Houthi attempts to infiltrate the internal front.

The Presidential Leadership Council reaffirmed its openness to initiatives and realistic visions for managing new variables in the interest of the state project, meeting the aspirations of all citizens.
