Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, at his residence in the German city of Munich, received Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani on the sidelines of the 61st session of the International Security Conference, which kicks off today, Friday.
Talks touched on the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, and the common positions of the two brotherly countries regarding regional developments, terrorist threats in waterways, and their disastrous repercussions on living and humanitarian conditions, and international peace and security.
The meeting also discussed ways to enhance aspects of bilateral cooperation, including activating the Joint Ministerial Supreme Committee, reviving agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two brotherly countries in various fields, most notably training, rehabilitation and capacity building, and providing more facilities for Yemeni nationals residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to the possibility of resuming flights between the two countries.
