President al-Alimi arrives in New York to contribute to the UN General Assembly Sessions

NEW YORK - SABA
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) along with the two PLC's members Aidraous al-Zubaidi and Othman Mujalli arrived on Saturday in New York to join the discussions of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

President al-Alimi is going to deliver a speech at the General Assembly gathering in which he will highlight the situations in Yemen, the required international support to sustain the efforts of the PLC and the Yemeni government to put an end to the Yemeni people's suffering and make the comprehensive peace.

The President also is set to engage in the discussions of the Future High-Profile Summit to cite the economic and institutional reforms the PLC and the government have been working on in order to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Developments Goals.

The Chairman of the PLC and its two members are going to hold discussions with the heads of states, governments and delegations who are participating in the UN General Assembly Sessions.
