His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) convened a meeting the leadership of the Consultations and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) the Chair Mohammed al-Ghaithi, his deputies Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi, Sakher al-Wajeah, Jamilla Ali Raja and Akram al-Amiri.

The CRC headship reported to President al-Alim about the CRC's actions and achievements over the past period, its current and future programs.

The President praised the CRC's efforts and role in sustaining the PLC. He confirmed that the PLC is very keen to boost the CRC's active role in bringing all political constituencies together, building the trust among all national forces.

The Chairman of the PLC detailed the leadership of the CRC about the latest developments in the national arena, required reforms and the priorities need to be addressed to strengthen the unity of the ranks and manage the economic hardships and humanitarian challenges, which have been worsen by the terrorist attacks of the Iran-backed Houthi militias on the oil facilities and marine shipping lanes that deprived the country some 70 percent of the state's general budget resources.

The President also touched upon the outcomes of his meetings with the regional and international actors and the good offices have been made by the brothers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to de-escalate the economic tension and revive the political process based on the road map sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He also cited the outcomes of his recent visits along with his deputies to the governorates of Hadramout and Taiz and his consultations with the local authorities and the political parties and forces.
