Leadership Council chairman, two deputies arrive in Taiz

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi arrived in Taiz today along with senior statesmen including two of his deputies Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Mujalli on the first presidential visit to the governorate, a beacon of steadfastness in the fateful battle against the terrorist Houthi militia.

The President and his deputies held meetings with representatives of the local authority, civilian and military; and political, social, women, youth and media, and civil society leaders, to inform them on the developments, and priorities in the country.

In a statement to the press, the President expressed his and his fellow council members' delight to visit Taiz Governorate, in recognition of the legendary steadfastness of its people alongside the armed forces and the popular resistance in confronting the Imami agenda supported by the Iranian regime.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council said, "Taiz will remain a lever for the national project, a cradle of change, and a capital of steadfastness it has exhibited over years of unjust siege imposed by the terrorist Houthi militia."
