President al-Alimi vows to engage women in decision making, peace building

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) restated that the PLC and the government are committed to work on promoting woman's role, enabling her to actively participate in the decision making and peace building process.

His comment came during his meeting today, Thursday, at the Republican Palace in the city of al-Mukalla of Hadramout governorate with the women folk with the presence of the Governor Mabkhot bin Madhi.

The Chairman of the PLC expressed satisfaction with the significant progress the Hadrami women have made in terms of the economic and political participation as well as charity actions.

President al-Alimi urged the Hadrami woman to play her active role in countering the extremism danger promoted by the terrorist organizations led by the Terrorist Houth militias.
