Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi and Council member Sheikh Othman Mujalli met at the Republican Palace in the city of Mukalla Wednesday with the heads of the courts and prosecutions representing the judiciary authority in Hadramout.

At the meeting, which was attended by the Governor of Hadhramout Mabkhout bin Madhi, the President emphasized the importance of the meeting with representatives of the judiciary authority two years after the formation of the Supreme Judicial Council, which has clearly reflected the presence of the judiciary authority and the increasing confidence of the citizen in the courts and the institutions of justice, which contributes to the imposition of order and the rule of law.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed that the periodic meetings with men of justice come as an expression of the Council's support for the judicial authority and its firm belief in its independence and the principle of separation of powers, and the role of the judiciary in achieving justice and equality among all citizens, protecting their rights, property, and public freedoms.

He stressed that the Leadership Council and the government, as the executive authority, will be committed to their constitutional and legal obligations to implement the decisions and orders issued by the courts, and the necessity of compliance with them, expressing his aspiration for an increased role for the judiciary in Hadramout Governorate as the fulcrum of the desired partnership project that the sons of the governorate deserve.

For his part, the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sheikh Othman Mujalli, emphasized the role of the judiciary in supporting the efforts of the local authorities and overseeing the inalienable state assets without legal justification.

He also stressed the importance of the complementary relationship between all authorities to enhance the citizens' confidence in state institutions and build the best model in the liberated governorates.
