The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidaroos al-Zubaidi received today, Saturday, in the temporary capital Aden, the Libyan Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Edris Ahmed Abu Bakr.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) came back today, Monday, to the temporary capital Aden following his tour abroad during which held consultations with the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and key regional and international actors about the developments in the Yemeni national arena and the developments in the region, the prospects to revive the peace process and mitigate the economic hardships that have been further worsen by the terrorist attacks of the Houthi militias on oil facilities and international shipping lanes.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the President expressed his own and on behalf of the PLC's members and the government deep gratitude to the brothers in the Arab Coalition in support of the legitimate government in Yemen led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their steadfast commitment to support the Yemeni people and allay their suffering, achieve their aspirations to restore the state's institutions, security, stability and peace.
The Chairman of the PLC restated that the PLC is very keen to do utmost efforts in order to deliver on the government's obligations first of all is to pay public civil service' employees and to improve basic services all over the country.
