Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi concluded a visit to the United Arab Emirates during which he participated, along with Council member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, in the 28th Climate Conference, which began in Dubai last Thursday.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council met with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss Yemeni developments and issues of common interest.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council also spoke to the climate conference in a speech in which he reviewed the devastating effects of climate change in Yemen, especially on livelihoods, environmental resources, basic services, infrastructure, and the international support required to limit its repercussions.

On the sidelines of the activities of the international conference, His Excellency the President participated in international sessions to evaluate the level of implementation of local and international climate commitments.
