The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC( held a meeting today, Sunday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the attendance of its members Sultan al-Arada, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, and via video call Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami and Othman Majli, while Aidaroos al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh and Faraj al-Bahsni were absent with an excuse.

President al-Alimi meets with Minister of Local Administration, Jawf Governor

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi met Wednesday with Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari and Jawf Governor Hussein al-Ajji for inspecting performance of the local authorities and conditions in Jawf Province.

President al-Alimi was briefed by the minister and the governor on needed efforts to activate the role of the local authorities in liberated areas in Jawf and needed facilitations and services to the displaced people.

He reiterated coordination of all efforts and teamwork to create admirable change in lives of the people, as well as unifying fronts in facing current and future challenges and limiting repercussions of the humanitarian crisis over Houthi militia triggered war.

The meeting touched upon economic and security conditions in the country and needed interventions to alleviate suffering of the citizens and supporting their aspirations in regaining the state and ending Houthi militia coup.
Efforts of economic and administrative reforms and efforts of the Ministry of Local Administration and concerned authorities to enhance the role of the local authorities were also discussed.
