Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, called on all the country's men and women to respond effectively to the national immunization campaign against measles and rubella, which will be launched tomorrow, Saturday, in 13 governorates.
The President posted on his account in X platform: " On the eve of the launch of the national campaign for immunization against measles and rubella, we call on all countrymen and women to respond effectively to the services of medical teams, in order to ensure the health of our beloved country's young who are bearing the brunt of the war of the Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.”
The six-day national immunization campaign is meant to target more than 1,267,000 children between the ages of 6 months and under five years.
The campaign, which is implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Population with the support of the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Global Vaccine Alliance, comes in the wake of recording more than 15,000 cases of measles during the last period, including more than 200 deaths, according to official reports.
