President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Council member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, met today, Thursday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting touched on the long-standing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and the prospects for strengthening them in various fields.
The meeting also touched on developments in the Yemeni situation, including the commendable mediation efforts led by the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to renew the truce and launch a comprehensive political process under the auspices of the United Nations.
