His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, highly praised the Japanese contribution to the development drive and reconstruction in Yemen including the seaports cities.
His Excellency voiced his comments during his meeting today, Wednesday, with the Charged' Affairs of the Japanese embassy in the Republic of Yemen Kazu Hiro Higashi.
Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the discussions.
The latest developments in Yemen including the regional and international efforts to revive the peace process were also discussed.
President al-Alimi highlighted the need for mounting international pressures to press for peace, increase peace prospects amid Iran-backed Houthi militias' intransigence.
