RIYADH-SABA

Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Wednesday US Ambassador to Yemen Stephen Fagin discussing with him mutual relations between the two friendly countries.

President al-Alimi discussed with the US diplomat latest developments in Yemen and international communications to resume political process, including US humanitarian and developmental interventions.

Al-Alimi praised the role of brothers in Saudi Arabia and their active contribution in keeping economic and livelihood conditions stable to alleviate humanitarian suffering of Yemeni people.

He called upon the international community to shoulder their responsibility towards major violations in areas under Houthi militia's control.
