Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Muhammad Buhaibeh, discussed in the interim capital, Aden, today with the World Health Organization expert in charge of evaluating emergency departments, a number of issues related to strengthening the work and development of emergency departments.

The Minister of Health praised the support provided by health sector partners, including the World Health Organization, pointing to the need in the field of emergency operations in terms of construction in a comprehensive manner that enables it to manage health sector operations and links it directly to the Ministry's leadership, especially with the spread of epidemics and the expansion of emergency work in the areas of epidemiological cases and disasters.

He added that the ministry plans to update everything related to emergencies and provide them with modern information systems and seek to build major emergency centers and expand their relations with various sectors, pointing out that emergency operations are the first warning bell to guide us to take preventive measures to limit the spread of epidemics before any emergency occurs.
