Hodeidah - Saba
Mayoon Organization for Human Rights strongly condemned the attack launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on civilians in Wadi Nakhla, Hays district, south of Hodeidah, which resulted in the injury of five children between the ages of eight and thirteen.
The Houthi terrorists fired mortar shells on the children while they were grazing livestock in what the organization called "a flagrant Houthi violation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and international humanitarian law."
Mayoon called for an immediate end to these horrific violations, and to ensure that the perpetrators do not go unpunished. It also called on the United Nations, the UN envoy to Yemen, the "UNMHA" mission, and human rights organizations to condemn this crime and take an explicit stand on it.
