The Republic of Yemen participated in the meetings of the 99th regular session of the Standing Committee for Arab Media, which was held today in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
The session will discuss a number of files, the most important of which is the Palestinian cause and the mechanisms of Arab media dealing with the violations of the Zionist occupation and its practices in demolishing the Arab identity of the city of Jerusalem, the plan for Arab media movement abroad and approving the start of the work of the Arab Media Observatory and the integrated platform, which is scheduled to be launched at the beginning of next year from Morocco, which aims to prepare and broadcast international media messages that correct the wrong image of Arab societies in the West, monitoring messages published by international media about the Arab world and producing Arab media messages about them.
The committee also approved a draft Arab strategy for dealing with international media companies with regard to content and digital tax, and submitted the necessary recommendations in this regard to the meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers in its 17th regular session.
