The Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Jamal Awad, met today, at the Ministry's office in the interim capital, Aden, with representatives of the Japanese Embassy in our country.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields, especially the economic and developmental aspects and the humanitarian support provided by the Japanese government to the Yemeni people at this current stage.
The Foreign Minister's advisor reviewed developments in the situation on the Yemeni scene, and the efforts of the political leadership to bring peace, reconstruction, stability and development.. once again the government's keenness to develop bilateral relations with Japan, appreciating Japan's role and support for the Yemeni government and people during this difficult stage that Yemen is going through as a result of the war imposed by the Houthi coup militia.
For his part, representatives of the Japanese embassy affirmed their government's interest in enhancing economic cooperation between the two friendly countries and providing support in the field of sustainable development.
