Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh, participated in the annual conference of the Global Vaccine Alliance, held in the Spanish capital, Madrid, with the participation of a number of heads and ministers of health from various countries of the world.
The Global Vaccine Alliance is the main supporter of providing vaccines around the world, and it had a prominent and significant role in providing the covid-19 vaccine and routine vaccines to the Republic of Yemen.
During the conference, the Minister of Health reviewed Yemen's experience in vaccines and the efforts exerted to rehabilitate the health sector and the achievements it has achieved despite the exceptional circumstances the country is going through.
He indicated that there is a need to continue supporting Yemen by providing vaccines as it is still living in a state of health emergency and it is important to integrate them into the initiatives.
