Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohssen Ada'iri held discussions today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Military Attaché in the French embassy in Yemen over the latest developments in our country amid the Terrorist Houthi militias' escalation.

General Ada'iri pointed out to the Houthi militias' continuous attacks by the Iran-made drones on the armed forces positions, civilians, underling the devastating consequences of the large amount of the landmines planted randomly by the Houthi militiamen everywhere in the country.

The Defense Minister called on the international community to ramp-up pressures upon the Houthi militias in order to press for a comprehensive peace. " The international community's leniency toward the Houthi militia gave rise to its intransigence, insistence on violence", said Ada'iri, adding " The problem with the Houthi militia is that Houthi group holds racist-sectarian religious doctrine and they claim to have divine rights entitle them to rule the country".

The French Military Attaché shown understanding about the challenges facing the internationally recognized government, noting that they are currently focusing on the humanitarian aids and training specialist teams in demining.
