The Head of the Technical Team for Relief and International Cooperation at the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Maryam Al-Doughani, discussed today in the interim capital, Aden, with the Swiss Ambassador, Thomas Oertel, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, the process of peace endeavors, and humanitarian aid to Yemen.
The meeting also discussed the role and tasks of the Technical Team for Relief and International Cooperation in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic in facilitating the work of international organizations and overcoming difficulties in implementing their programs and projects, and how to coordinate with the concerned authorities and government institutions.
Al-Doughani affirmed the keenness and interest of the leadership of the Presidency Council, represented by President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, to enhance joint cooperation with all international bodies in implementing programs that contribute to improving the humanitarian situation in Yemen.. praising the efforts of donor countries that are still providing the necessary support to Yemen.
