Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights, Ahmed Arman, discussed with the UNICEF Executive Director ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and build the capacities of the ministry's staff in the field of human rights.

Minister Arman touched on the human rights situation in Yemen, and the violations committed by the Houthi militia against civilians through kidnappings, arrests, detention, and enforced disappearances against politicians, journalists, and human rights activists, as well as violations of Yemeni women's rights and the recruitment of children and deploying them on the war front lines..warning of the danger of Houthi radicalization camps known as Summer Centers through which the terrorists brainwash children and teach them rhetoric of incitement, hatred and sectarianism.
