The Consultations and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) has confirmed its full support for the ongoing efforts to achieve peace in Yemen in a way that ensures eliminating the coup, restoring the State's institutions, get major issues resolved, first and foremost the southern issue.

In a session held virtually today, Wednesday, chaired by the Commission's Chair Mohammed al-Ghaithi the CRC has stressed that the peace efforts must be based on the basis of " Coup and internationally recognized government" resulted in implementing the articles of the International Security Council's resolution 2216.

The CRC noted that it was a fault that no measures have been taken in the wake of the attacks on the oil seaports in Shabwa and Hadramout and this is requiring taking decisive decisions that can handle the subsequent economic problems which seriously affected the national economy.

The CRC stressed that it is very important to reinvigorate the State's institutions and the government and the CRC's Economic Team should undertake their national responsibility to help the country survive a looming economic collapse, find out the economic solutions to the crisis the country has been struggling with.
