Speaker of Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher highly praised the supportive stances of the People's Republic of China in support of the Yemeni people, its official leadership, deeply appreciating China's significant contribution to the development drive and humanitarian actions in Yemen.

He made his comments as he met today, Tuesday, with the Charged' Affairs of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Chu Ch'ing.

Dr. Bin Dagher hailed Yemeni-Chinese relationship as historic and robust throughout several decades have made China's significant marks clearly seen in highways, hospitals and others.

The Speaker of the Shura Council called on the international community, namely permanent members of the International Security Council to mount pressures upon Houthi militias to come to peace that is based on the three terms of the peace references agreed on in order to maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability.

The Chinese diplomat confirmed his country's supportive stances in support of the fair and permanent peace that keeps Yemen united, secure and stable.

He also reiterated the Chinese leadership's support for the Presidential Leadership Council.
