Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist Houthi militia's storming of the peaceful annual meeting of the Baha'is in the hijacked capital, Sana'a, and the arrest of (17) of the participants in the meeting, including (5) women, forcibly disappearing them, and raiding a number of homes belonging to the sect.

Muammar Eryani said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency, "Saba", that this heinous crime confirms the Houthi militia's move, under Iranian direction, in the approach of escalation, targeting and systematic terrorism of religious minorities, led by the Baha'i sect, and persecuting its followers on the grounds of their beliefs, in flagrant violation of freedom of religion, belief and right.

In organizing, gathering, and practicing religious rites approved by international laws, charters, and treaties, foremost of which is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
