The Permanent Representative of Yemen to the European Headquarters of the United Nations, Dr. Ali Mujawar discussed today with the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General, Robert Piper, ways to enhance support and efforts to improve the conditions of the IDPs in Yemen.
The meeting reviewed efforts to alleviate the worsening suffering and the increasing numbers of displaced people since the Houthi terrorist militias' coup against the government.
The permanent representative praised the efforts of international organizations, led by the United Nations, as well as the efforts of donor brothers and friends in order to mobilize resources towards these helping these displaced people.
He expressed the readiness of the Yemeni government and all affiliated agencies and units to provide all means of cooperation and coordination to move forward towards achieving the maximum possible benefit for the IDPs.
