Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, participated today in the preparatory meeting of the Foreign Ministers for the Council of the League of Arab States at the summit level, the 32nd regular session, held in the Saudi city of Jeddah.
The meeting discussed reports submitted to the summit, including the reports of the Secretary-General on various areas of joint Arab action, draft resolutions on political developments and the unified Arab position on the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict and its developments, the activation of the peace initiative, the Israeli violations in Palestine and Jerusalem, and the developments of the crisis in Lebanon, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and Somalia, and a number of other topics included in the summit's agenda.
