Minister of Planning participates in round table for the governors of Islamic Bank member states

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Bathib, participated today in the round table that included the governors of the member states of the Islamic Development Bank, within the activities of the 48th annual meetings of the Islamic Development Bank, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Minister Bathib delivered a deliberation on partnerships and their importance in facing crises and financing and development challenges, which included a package of proposals aimed at developing Islamic finance and supporting Yemen in financing development programs, recovery and economic diversification, and benefiting from successful experiences in the member countries of the bank.

He referred to the multiplicity of strategies and policies for dealing with crises and increasing preventive measures against economic crises, including building partnerships with the main actors in development, stressing that the Islamic Bank can play a major role in this field.
