Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhaib, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the Director of the Mine Action Coordination Office, Major General Muhammad Obaid Gharama, joint efforts to activate the activities of the office in dealing with mines and reducing their risks.
Dr. Basuhaib praised the efforts of the Mine Coordination Office to spare citizens the dangers of mines and protect them from them, stressing the keenness to support the efforts of the Office and to overcome any difficulties that may face their humanitarian and national tasks.
On the other hand, Basuhaib discussed today, in Aden, with the Director of the Office of Save the Children International in Aden and Lahj, the possibility of supporting projects related to the care and protection of children of various groups in all liberated governorates.
In a separate context, the Deputy Minister of Planning discussed, with the general budget expert at Pragma Company, Dr. Kamal Al-Wasl, the final preparations for the start of the qualification and training program for the Ministry of Planning employees, which is scheduled to start in the next two days, and includes areas of the investment budget, setting strategic plans, and monitoring and evaluating projects.
