The head of the Executive Unit for the Displaced, Najeeb Al-Saadi, discussed with the humanitarian emergency team of United Nations agencies and international non-governmental organizations in Geneva, the conditions of the displaced, displacement solutions, and the importance of coordination between government agencies and international humanitarian agencies operating in Yemen.
During the meeting in the interim capital, Aden, Al-Saadi reviewed the government's vision for the issue of dealing with displacement through the development of a legal framework, which is the national policy for dealing with displacement.. stressing the government's keenness on the conditions of the displaced.. stressing the need to benefit from previous mistakes, coordination and joint work with the government side, and the need to involve the displaced and host communities in planning the issue of durable solutions to address displacement and activate the societal issue.
