The Ambassador of Yemen in Muscat, Khalid bin Shatif, discussed today with the Minister of the Royal Office in the Sultanate of Oman, Lieutenant General Sultan al Nu'mani, the bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.
Bin Shatif affirmed the position of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government in support of the regional, international and UN efforts aimed at resolving the crisis and ending the war caused by the Houthi militia, and the necessity of their cooperation with any endeavors to achieve complete and sustainable peace in accordance with the three references in light of the intransigence of the Houthi militia and its placement of obstacles in the face of any efforts..appreciating the endeavors of the Omani leadership in resolving the Yemeni crisis.
For his part, the Omani minister affirmed his country's keenness and firm position in resolving the Yemeni crisis, bringing together points of view and supporting it to achieve comprehensive peace in the Republic of Yemen, in coordination with the relevant international parties.
