Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Othman Mujally received Wednesday French Ambassador to Yemen Jean-Marie Safa discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries and peace efforts in Yemen.

Mujally touched upon the positive and responsible positions of the Presidential Leadership Council and of the government and Saudi-led Coalition for realizing security and stability in Yemen.

He pointed out that Houthi militia has a habit to breach accords and agreements, pointing out that recent Houthi militia's irresponsible statements and continuous military escalation confirm that the militia will not change its aggressive behavior.

While confirming support to peace efforts, Mujally said they are aware that the militia is preparing for a forthcoming war, stressing they will not remain idle and will not abandon every spot of Yemen under the militia control.

He expressed confidence to efforts of the Saudi-led coalition saying they respect them and their efforts for realizing peace on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216.

For his part, the French ambassador praised position of the Presidential Leadership Council and its permanent keenness on peace, hoping that Yemeni people will return to peace and reconstruction and safe return to their houses.
